Hey there, and welcome to my little corner of the web! Feel free to look around and enjoy your stay.

Just a heads-up: the site's still a work in progress, so some info may change and a few things might not work as expected. If you do spot any bugs, I'd love to hear about them!

Games, art, pixels, and a dash of chaos

Welcome to my little corner of the internet, this is where I share what I've been making — from quirky game projects and devlogs, to photography, sketches, and the occasional rambling blog post. Basically, whatever I'm tinkering with.

About

Hi, I'm Beniah Gepts, an indie developer from Belgium. I'm relatively new to the game development scene, but I've been passionate about games for over 30 years. I grew up playing and studying them, and now I'm dedicated to creating my own worlds.

My goal is simple: to make games of great quality that focus on one thing above all else — being fun. Whether it's quirky idle projects or retro-inspired adventures, I want to craft experiences that bring players joy and a smile.

FAQ

Questions you might be thinking. If you don't see yours, ping me!

What tools do you use?
I build with Godot for the engine. Art & pixels with Krita, Aseprite, PixelOver, and SpriteMancer. 3D and renders in Blender.
Will you release games on console?
PC first (Windows). I'll definitely look into console possibilities in the future once the games are stable and the porting path makes sense.
Where are save files stored?
Saves are stored locally on your PC. By default, they're in the user data folder created by Godot: %APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\YourGameName on Windows. I may add Steam Cloud support so your progress follows you between devices.
Can I stream or make videos of your games?
Absolutely! You're welcome to record, stream, or monetize content featuring my games. If you do, feel free to share it in the Discord — I'd love to check it out!
I'm having an issue with a game — how can I get help?
Please reach out at contact@beniah.games or post in the Discord server. To help me fix it faster, include:
  • Your OS + version (e.g., Windows 11 23H2)
  • Game version/build date
  • Steps to reproduce (what you did right before it happened)
  • Screenshots or a short clip if possible
  • Any error text or logs
Are all games on the site being actively worked on?
Not at the same time. Whenever I come up with a feature idea that doesn't quite fit my current project, I build a quick prototype to test it out. If it turns out fun, I add it to my list of projects. Once the prototype phase is done, I usually put it on hold and return to my main project. Every game listed on this site is something I believe in and plan to eventually release in a playable state.
